Saturday night we went to see the 7:10 showing of Casino Royale -- which was sold out, so we saw the 7:20 of Deck the Halls and then the 10:20 of Casino Royale. Casino Royale was the best Bond movie I've seen in a long time, maybe ever. Deck the Halls probably not worth movie ticket price, but would be a nice rental.
To kill the hour in between movies, we walked to Barnes & Noble at the other end of the strip mall. Late on a Saturday night, fresh back from San Francisco, I realized how nice it is to be able to make that walk without being approached by anyone asking for money or worrying about that guy lurking in the shadows between Best Buy and B&N (just some high school kid). Big cities are nice to visit, but I like living in a small, safe city.
