I don't post much here any more. I find that the quick blurb format of Facebook has made me lazy and actually taking time to write something more than that paragraph has fallen by the wayside.
Life is good for us here in South Carolina. The weather suits us and we're making friends here much faster than we ever did in NH. Most everyone I've met down here is from somewhere else. Maybe the fact that we're all new and strangers here makes people more willing to reach out and meet others.
It reminds me in many ways of when I was in the Army. Very few people ever end up stationed where they grew up so everyone is on the same playing field. It makes you more likely to reach out, invite over, and seek other's company.
Whatever the reason we love it here and can't wait to experience our first 'Fall' and 'Winter' in a southern climate.
