We're are on a 2-4 year plan right now. We're going to be vacationing in parts of the country that we may like to live and hoping for the housing market to rebound for when we decide to sell.
Our criteria? We want to live somewhere warm, with little crime, a good school system, a nice downtown area with a Starbucks within walking distance, nice parks, family activities...you know, the usual.
One another note...PW and I are trying to lose weight and get into shape. I've lost almost 10 pounds just by cutting down on portions and watching what I eat. I want to be outside more but walking in the cold and snow while still fighting a cough I've had for weeks is difficult. PW looks awesome. You'd never know that she had a baby 7.5 months ago!
I made a braised beef meal based on a Cooking Light recipe last night for dinner. I don't recall ever cooking with or eating parsnips before and I have to say that I love them. I used the braising pot that Good Friend gave me a few years ago to prepare the dinner. I've gotten more use out of that pot...thanks again Good Friend!
The recipe called for wine and I decided to use a Four Vines Zin for the job. It also went well with the meal at the dinner table. I then opened a bottle of the 2001 Four Vines Zinfandel Port and PW and I each had a glass later that evening while watching TV. We'll probably have a glass for the next few nights until the bottle is gone. It was so, so good.
