NBB (New Baby Boy) is doing great and growing like crazy. It is amazing to hold him and realize that in 11 weeks he's doubled his weight and is four inches longer! He smiles all the time and is interested in everything going on around him.
PW and I went to a Spanish wine tasting on Friday night and it was awesome. OD is now 21 and since she's actually been to Spain I sent her the invite and she came along too. We also ran into Good Friend and His Wife so it was a great time all around.
The owners of the shop helped take care of NBB by wheeling him around the shop in his stroller while we sipped. It was a clever marketing ploy because we bought three bottles of wine and one of a flavored olive oil.
PW really enjoyed herself and can't wait to find out what next month's tasting is going to be.
I just got 'lectured' by my able-bodied 16-year-old daughter because I wouldn't stop what I was doing at work (in my home office) to give her a ride home from school.
It is a beautiful day...sunny, light breeze, and 76 degrees. I went for an hour long walk this morning with the baby because it is so nice.
But for YD...it is too hot and I'm at home and take time to go shopping for baby food and so I should jump up when she calls and fetch her from school.
Did I mention that it is a 5 minute walk? On nice sidewalks? And that she has fully functioning legs?
