Today is PW's bday and we're both sick with the flu! Here's to stuffed noses and hacking cough kisses and hugs!
My iPhone no longer worked on vibrate mode, something was rattling around inside, my wireless connection was inconsistent, and my bluetooth had lots of static. I went into the Apple Store at local mall and made an appointment to speak with an expert. I made the appointment and by the time I walked to the back of the store it was my turn.
I explained the problem, he looked at the phone, and then said he was going to replace it. Within 15 minutes I walked out of the store with a new phone that works perfectly.
We have a bunch of snow this morning and now it is raining on top of it. MD and her boyfriend now live with us so I went downstairs and woke him up so that he could commence snow removal before it became impossible. I'm glad that they live here now or I'd be out there right now instead of blogging about it.
My shoulder surgery happened last August but I'm in more pain now than I was back then. I have an appointment on Friday and I'm hoping that it is just scar tissue. I can get a cortisone shot and then I'll be better. I at least won't to be more pain-free for our upcoming trip to Maui! :)
Our Baby Boy has a name picked out for him already but I don't want to share it on here. If you'd like to know the name feel free to contact me directly via email.
It is around 14F outside with a windchill factor of -2! I put plastic on our windows and it is moving in and out as the wind blows outside. It is amazing how much air manages to get inside despite what appears to be a tightly shut window.
The driveway continues to be a problem here. The end of the driveway by the road has a frozen hump of ice and snow. This was caused by Middle Daughter driving back and forth over it at night and packing it down so that the snowblower couldn't pick it up.
The bottom of the driveway isn't exposed to much sun during the day so leftover snow/slush from a previous storm has solidified into a block of ice.
My shoulder that I had surgery on back in August is still bothering me. I have an appointment on Friday and I'm hoping a cortisone shot will clear it up for me. All the moving of furniture during our home improvements caused me trouble and all the snow removal this winter has made it worse.
I would love to leave it all until Spring but the runoff when it all melts will flood the garage and mud room so I can't do it.
Thank you to everyone that left comments to the last post. PW and I couldn't be happier and it is amazing what a difference a year can make.
PW had a level 2 ultrasound on Monday and aside from finding out that everything is going great with our little baby we found out that "it" is a he.
Here he is waving hello to the world!
