PW and I went to the Lilac Festival at the Wentworth-Coolidge Mansion and bought a couple of lilacs for our new home. One of them is the Tinkerbell variety and the other is Presidential. The Tinkerbell lilac has wine-colored buds that open up to a pink flower so that is going to be interesting when it blossoms each year.
I also planted some impatiens in the flower bed just to fill in some of the gaps.
