We went to our first Ham and Bean church supper this past weekend and it was awesome. Every couple of months a local church puts a sign out on the road advertising the upcoming dinner and I always say that I want to go. Something always seems to come up but this Saturday was clear so we went.
A total of five of us got into the buffet style dinner for a family price of $18!! There was home-made beans, ham, hotdogs, various jello salads, cole slaw, a salad bar type table, a dessert table with homemade pies, and a drink table with coffee, apple cider, and homemade punch.
We all had plenty to eat and the food was great tasting too. I can't wait for the next one!
