Well...we had some snow, and that makes me really happy. BUT, it changed over to rain. The sudden melt and runoff resulted in a slightly flooded garage and the cat food dishes were floating in the mud-room.
Princess Middle Daughter joined me outside and helped me clear a channel so that we could direct the water away from the garage. My shoulder, which will be fixed some day, is throbbing. I know that if the rain keeps up we'll have to go out again before the night is through to sweep the water over to the side of the garage.
This is a picture of the woods across the street from my home. If you look carefully you can see the headstones for a Colonial graveyard that is over there. It is in the middle left portion of the picture.
