Good Friend at Everyday News recently posted something about her outlaws and that made me think of what happened on Christmas Day at the outlaw dinner.
We all had a great time that day. Multiple families got together to share food, the house was full of kids, and everyone was exchanging gifts. We even fit in a birthday celebration for my nephew who's birthday is on that day.
After that was all done some guys, and a woman or two, sat down to play some Texas Holdem in the game room.
At some point during the game Oldest Daughter came into the room to say goodbye because she was going over to Boyfriend's parent's home to visit with them too.
As she got ready to leave Wicked Evil Sister-in-law stopped her and asked, "Are you leaving because they're playing poker?"
To her, there is nothing more evil than the fact we play that game at all. She's used to controlling everything and for us to play a game that excludes her (gambling is evil) really bothers her. She assumes that it must bother everyone else too.
OD said she just rolled her eyes and didn't even answer her after she asked that question.
And on the poker front...I played again last night and won $100! That puts me up $160 for Christmas week. :)

Christine - Oh, I think this New Year's will be spent with family, but who knows what next year will bring! :)

I've always thought you were a little bit evil Bob. But in a charming way!
