Son, Youngest Daughter, Middle Daughter, and I all went to dinner and then to see Eragon.
Well, me and MD LOVED the book. Read it multiple times, listened to it on my iPod, talked about it, and couldn't wait for the movie to hit the screen.
The movie is so loosely based on the book as to almost be laughable. That being said, we still enjoyed the movie. But...man...if only the movie had even made a stab at being true to the book, how much better would it have been.

I was hoping you would go to the movie, and post about it. I have been so excited about the movie because I liked the book so much. I just couldn't decide if I needed to go see it on the big screen, or if I could wait till it came out on video....looks like video is my best bet.....Thanks for writing about it.......
