Stores are getting ready or Christmas Cactus not left behind.
We got a Christmas Cactus from Good Friend's Hot Sister a couple of years ago and it has always been great about blooming.
It looks like this year won't be any different as it has already started and we're not even finished with Halloween yet!

Soo weird that you posted about that tonight. I was driving home tonight and was listening to the CD recording of my orchestra's concert..the one that you, Mary, and the girls attended and honored me with your presence. I remember my brother sending me the sketches Mary did on her program during that concert, and going out to dinner with you guys. I was so touched that you all even had any interest in attending the concert (and remember wanting to KILL YOU for sitting so close to where I was sitting in the orchestra!). Every time I hear that CD it reminds me of Mary and I think of her. And every time I see yet another new pink blossom on the cactus plant that you guys sent me...a cactus plant that should not even be able to produce flowers...I say a little "hi Mary". Those flowers always makes me think of her as well.
