We got snow this weekend...a lot of snow! Two things happened to make it even more noteworthy: 1) my snow thrower doesn't throw snow 2) the camera's battery died.
That means I did a fair amount of hand shoveling and that I couldn't take any pictures of it. Take a look at the photos in the Flickr box and that gives you a general idea regarding how things look around here right now.
The good news is that Oldest Daughter's boyfriend has a plow and saved me a couple of hours of shoveling by clearing the main part of our driveway.
I won a seat in a poker tourney and played in it online this weekend. I got knocked out in 225th place out of 455. I didn't win any money but still had fun doing it. It would have been more fun to win 1st place since that was worth $20K but it wasn't meant to be.

Posted by: Bob on December 12, 2005 10:07 AMwe got slammed here too. yesterday I had to uncover my SUV after letting it go for four days and I know there was over 7 inches on the damn thing....it took forever to uncover it! the funniest part is that the roof still has 7 inches on it because I can't reach the roof. :)

I HATE shoveling. HATE IT! I do however, love to watch other people do it.
