Didn't brew or Back to the kitchen!

I ended up not making it to the blog brew last night. I really wanted to make it and hope everyone had a great time. By the time I finished work I was just too beat to walk out the door and drive to Portsmouth.

Instead, I dusted off my knives and cutting boards and made dinner! I'd been receiving requests for my 'purple chicken' and that's what I made. It is actually Rachael Ray's Chicken with Red Wine and Tarragon from her 30 Minute Meals show and it is a nice meal to eat on a rainy night.

We enjoyed dinner together and then gathered around the TV to watch the latest installment of Lost. Honestly, they almost lost me as a viewer when the first couple of shows didn't go somewhere. The last couple of shows has brought me back into the fold.

Another show that I'm really enjoying right now is Invasion. Plenty of plot twists, action, and some hot chicks thrown in for good measure...what's not to like?

I am so with you on lost. I was just about done, but boy howdy is it getting good. I just can't get into Invasion. I think it's because it comes on at the same time as Law and Order and I am like a little old lady and just can't get enough of that Legal crap.

Katy - I've never watched Law and Order so that time slot was open for me.

Well, that explains why we didn't see you there. As you were the only individual who we had a clue what you looked like, we never did hook up with the rest. All those comfy couches went unused most of the night! Ah, but we ate and we drank and we didn't have to cook. :)

I need the recipe Bob...it sounds yummy. Is there a website or will you share?

That sucks... we were sitting at the funky tall table in the corner. I guess someone should wear a hat or something next time... and not type 5:30.

Well, Chosen did propose going from table to table asking the women if they were Contagious. I told him to go for it, but that he'd probably get kicked out before he made a positive ID. ;)

Kreblog - Bummer! Funny hats all around next time!

Pam - I think he should have done it and hang the consequences! ;)
