I better watch my step regarding where I play poker based recent crackdowns in New York City.

Personally, I think the more they drive it underground, the seedier and more dangerous it will become like what happened during Prohibition.

I don't see why they should be illegal...my husband is always worried about entering live tournaments around here and then them getting busted and shut down after he's already paid his way in. that would suck.

Dawn - That would suck for sure. I think it is more the private clubs that get busted. That's where the big money is, not in the local live tournaments.

They are definitely overreacting about those poker clubs. But, you should be careful in case they don't let up.
