How about fired or Delayed compensation.

I just read an article on Yahoo News and I can't believe it.

Essentially, the British PAT (Professional Association of Teachers) says that the word 'fail' should be banned from use in classrooms and the term 'deferred success' should be used instead.

How long will it be until they decide to change out the word 'success' for the term 'eventual failure' so that those that do well don't make the others feel bad?

Did you read Michele's post about this issue? People have quite heated opinions on this one.

I agree that it's just silly...Eliminating the word "failure" will not necessarily boost the esteem of kids in school, or protect them from undo harm.
How will they understand success without the possibility of failure?

I just went over and read some of the comments. It is silly. No matter how they try to hide it, kids know who's doing well and who isn't.
