I think I am or What am I doing with my time.

I think that I've posted to my blog but then I realize that what I've done is comment on other blogs and neglected mine.

This reminds me of when I was teaching and doing a lot of extra classes for karate. Before black belt you have to attend a certain number of classes a week. I would be in the dojo every night yet still not have the required number of classes because I had missed the "official" night for some reason.

We went over the outlaws tonight because BW's Aunt and Uncle from MD were up for a visit. Her aunt is her father's sister. Her uncle is her mother's brother. How weird is that? But, in the grand scheme of things with the outlaws, they are very nice and a lot of fun.

In my spare time this afternoon I made Rachael Ray's Gutsy Red Pepper Gazpacho and I also made a crab stew. Both came out good and everyone liked them.

Another man who cooks. (And well by the sound of it.) Couldn't eat the crab stew (allergic) but I'd go for the rest - including breakfast!)

Here are the recipes! Best thing, they are easy to make. Regarding the gazpacho recipe, I don't use any water, I use V8 juice instead of tomato sauce, and I use flavored diced tomatoes rather than stewed tomatoes. I've resorted to using jarred jalapenos because I know they are hot for sure, fresh ones are hit and miss.

Crab Stew

1lb of lobster or crab meat
2 cans of evaporated milk
1 quart of light cream (I used 1/2 & 1/2)
2 tsp of onion salt
2 tsp of ground black pepper
2 tsp of cilantro
optional: diced onions

Simmer all of the ingredients, but the cooked lobster or crab meat, together for a couple of hours. Put lobster or crab meat into liquid and cook for another half hour. The longer it simmers, the better it is.
