I made Amish Sweet Bread today from a recipe I found on-line. It is the first home made bread I've ever made.
I figured that it would be nice for Beautiful Wife to smell it as it baked and I was right. Between that and the Chicken with Red Wine and Tarragon that I made for dinner the place smelled great and she kept asking when dinner was going to be ready.
I think I should have let the yeast do its thing for a bit longer before I started adding in other ingredients. It also could have probably cooked for a couple more minutes. All in all, I think it came out pretty well.
